Our Story

About JesusFest

A purposeful movement led by God, designed to bring us back to what matters most.

What Is JesusFest?

More Than a Gathering

Practically speaking, JesusFest is a free admission family community gathering. But a deeper look shows more than just a gathering — it is a purposeful movement led by God, designed to bring us back to what matters most. Whether you are seeking answers for the first time or looking to deepen your walk with God, our mission is built on four life-changing pillars.

Our Foundation

The Four Pillars

01
Encounter the One True God

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” — Jeremiah 29:13

Everything starts with a moment of connection. When we lift up the name of Jesus, His presence changes the atmosphere. JesusFest provides a space to step away from the noise and have a real, personal encounter with the One who created you and loves you.

02
Ignite the Holy Spirit

“He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” — Matthew 3:11

We aren’t meant to live on empty. Our prayer is that every person who attends would experience a fresh awakening of the Holy Spirit — hearts set on fire with passion, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose that lasts long after the festival lights go down.

03
Equip the Believers

“The word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword.” — Hebrews 4:12

Faith is meant to be lived out with power. We’re dedicated to equipping you with spiritual tools and the freedom found only in Christ — breaking off heavy burdens and providing the biblical foundation to walk in true spiritual liberty (Galatians 5:1).

04
Unite the Body

“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” — Ephesians 4:3–4

The Church is at its best when it stands together. JesusFest is a “homecoming” for the Body of Christ — setting aside labels and denominations to unite as one family. When we stand as one, the world sees a clearer picture of God’s love.

JesusFest 2026

Practically speaking, it’s a free community festival. Spiritually, it is a “homecoming” for the Body of Christ — a unique space where churches, ministries, and families set aside different labels to focus on our True North: Jesus Christ.

Encounter the Father: A moment of connection that changes the atmosphere and heals hearts from the inside out.
🔥Ignite the Spirit: Moving from empty to overflowing through worship, prayer, and fellowship in community.
🛡Equip the Believer: Highlighting God’s workmanship in our local businesses and equipping individuals for spiritual liberty past the event.
🤝Unite the Church: Celebrating the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace — pulling down barriers to stand as one family.
Leadership

Meet David & Trisha McDuffey

David and Trisha are dedicated local leaders with a profound heart for seeing the Body of Christ across the Treasure Valley unite, experience God’s love, and step into true spiritual freedom. Having called Idaho home for the past 10 years, they have been blessed to raise their five children here, deeply embedding themselves in the local community and developing a great love for the families of the Gem State.

What started out as a simple, God-given vision to host a single prayer tent has beautifully blossomed under their leadership into a massive, county-wide festival. Moving as led by the Lord, their deep desire is to dismantle the traditional barriers and labels that can separate the Church, helping families, ministries, and local enterprises align around one ultimate True North — Jesus Christ.

Together, they are fully invested in walking out the four life-changing pillars of JesusFest: building spaces to Encounter the Father, Ignite the Holy Spirit, Equip believers for daily spiritual liberty, and Unite the local body as one unified family. Whether connecting with local non-profits, coordinating with kingdom-minded ministries, or preparing the grounds at Lakeview Park, David, Trisha, and their family are committed to normalizing the spiritual power of faith in our everyday community.
